The Bible is about relationships.
The most important work of man is developing and maintaining relationships - with God, with man.
We say that our spouse, our family are the most important things to us. But does the way we spend our time reflect that they are the most important?
Material gains - houses, cars, and wealth - are toys. Their actual value is the same as that of toys to children. To children, toys are extremely important and coveted. Destroy the toy or take it away from the child and the child has a fit. He or she may even hurt another, severely, over it or feel as though he has lost all that is important in his life. But as adults, we know their real value - something to occupy the child's mind and entertain them. If a toy is destroyed, we say so what, we'll just get another one. Houses, cars, and wealth are our toys, something to occupy our minds and entertain us and provide pleasure. God expects us to place no more value on them than that which we place on children's toys.
God is real! The God of the Bible is who he says He is, and God will do what He says He will do.
God holds life in the palm of His hands. He can give life and He can take it away as it pleases Him to do so.
Oneness with God is a reality. God provides the following illustration to demonstrate the working of that reality: Take a bucket of water, place a glass in the bucket and submerge it in the water. The water is the presence (Spirit) of God. The glass is man. The water fills the glass and the glass is in the water. And when you are one with God, nothing matters but God, His desires are your desires, His thoughts are your thoughts, and your words are His words. Jesus said "I and my Father are One." "If you have seen me, you have seen the Father."
Faith is "knowing" that the words of God are true and adjusting your belief system and your life to conform to God's reality.

The Author
In the mid 1990's, God spoke audibly to me and instructed me saying, "Feed My sheep". After a couple of weeks of pondering what God had spoken, I accepted His appointment to ministry. I began to enhance my biblical knowledge by taking courses offered by my church. Upon completion of those courses, I enrolled in a Bible college and completed seventeen credit hours. God again spoke audibly to me and instructed me to go to a specific seminary and get a master's degree, which I completed in December 2006.
